The newish Elysian brewery is a wonderful spot to grab lunch in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I went here with my Uncle on a recent visit to Seattle. The food specials had an impressive list of delicious local, and seasonal foods. I had the beautiful pumpkin spaetzle with pumpkin beer. What can I say, I'm a basic b*&^#! It was flavorful, and the spaetzle were cooked perfectly.
My Uncle had the delicious chicken mole with polenta and he paired it with the fresh tickler upon the bartenders recommendation. It went so well with his meal that I kept swiping bites.
The lunch crowd seemed to have only locals so it made for the Seattle experience. Go here if you want great beer and good food to match. -

Stopped in to Elysian since it is a Seattle staple! I have had Space Dust in Phoenix (hometown) and always thought it was a solid beer.
The brewery is huge, lots of seating and friendly bartenders. I like the decor and there was a very chill vibe. We only stayed for one beer and I chose the Crop Dust (wet hopped version of Space Dust). It was a good beer and my friend enjoyed her stout, I don't remember the name.
We did not get food but the menu was a little on the pricey side. I normally don't get food at a brewery unless it's a pretzel or something small. I wouldn't have ordered anything off of this menu given the pricing. -

This is my new go-to in Capitol Hill since it re-opened. The best part about it (besides the beer) is that they have awesome bartenders. They are very friendly every time I visit, and I've visited many times and interacted with many different bartenders.
Elysian is located at the top of the hill in Cap Hill, so it's a great place to start if you're exploring the area or doing a pub crawl. Also, if you're driving, parking is a bit easier to find at the top of the hill than the bottom. However, parking almost always sucks and since their beers are fairly high in ABV it's recommended to walk or Uber/Lyft so you can sample a few.
From the inside, they have views of the street all around through large windows, although if you're sitting at the bar you will have your back to the large windows. However, they do have garage doors on one side that open wide during times of nice weather.
The food is also quite good. I've had Lamb burger and fries the last time I was there, and the fries are especially good. I'd say they are better than In-and-Out fries.
The other thing is that they offer beers from all Elysian locations, since each location brews slightly different beer. They always have the year-round beers on tap like Space Dust, but also serve limited-run beers that are fun to experiment with. -

This place seems to be really popular! I came for the pumpkin beers since I had found a good pumpkin stout from here at a bottle shop once upon a time. However, two of the ones I wanted to order tapped out. The others I was able to try were not too memorable. I was too full to try any food, but great ambiance for a night out with friends.

Elysian is a good spot to stop for a beer and some apps, especially with kids. Both of my littles enjoyed the Mac & cheese and fries. I thought the snailbones beer was pretty good. My husband and I shared the pretzel, wings and street corn. All were decent, but nothing special.
